This healthy classic Lebanese salad is served on the side with most Lebanese meals. It is made of parsley, with bulgur wheat, diced tomatoes, onions, and fresh mint leaves dressed with lemon, and olive oil vinaigrette. Large leaves of lettuce are traditionally used to eat the salad.
Fattoush
Is the number one Salad in Lebanon. It is famous all over the world simply because it is so healthy and delicious. The Main ingredients are lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, fresh mint leaves, sumac powder, and purslane. Fresh lemon and pomegranate juice mixed with olive oil is used as a dressing. The salad is finished off with toasted pieces of healthy pita bread.

Habra & Kibbe Nayyeh
For all raw meat lovers, this is something you definitely have to try. Habra Naye is raw meat flavored with a pinch of salt, pepper and served with a garlic dip. Kebbe Nayeh is a variant with fine bulgur, onion and spices, sometimes served with a chili dip. Both dishes are often eaten with bread.
Moujaddara
It is a traditional vegetarian and healthy homemade dish that contains a mix of lentils and rice, and often garnished with cabbage and caramelized onions.
Fried Kebbeh & Sambousik
Kebbeh: A deep-fried, meatball mix made of minced beef, bulgur, with a core of fine cut onion and pine nuts is truly delicious. A good match with hummus dip and pita bread.
Sambousik: It is a small savory pie that can also be made as a vegetarian mezza. Before being deep fried the dough is commonly stuffed with a mix of meats (beef or lamb).
The vegetarian option is usually stuffed with feta cheese, parsley and onion.

Makanek: A warm mezza spicy sausage made of lamb or beef, and sometimes a mix of both. Ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg are used as main spices. Usually topped with garlic, lemon and pine nuts.
Chicken Liver: the Lebanese style Chicken Liver is often served as a delicacy on special occasions. It is sautéed with lemon, garlic and pomegranate molasses.
Soujouk: It is originally an Armenian-Turkish dish, consists of a mildly spicy sausage made with beef.
